The nervous system includes all the nerves in the body, as well as the brain and the spinal cord. The nerves run from the brain and spinal cord into the body. They convey information in the body.

Depending on which area of the nervous system is damaged, one may have a very wide range of different symptoms. One may not be able to move properly or keep having seizures. One’s thinking and behavior may change, for example. The person may be seriously ill.
