H31.3: Choroidal haemorrhage and rupture
Your eye is inflamed in the choroid area.
The choroid is the middle layer in the eye sheath. It lies between the sclera and the retina. There are lots of blood vessels in this layer. The choroid supplies the retina below it with oxygen and nutrients.
You have an injury in the choroid area. The injury may cause bleeding in the choroid. If there is a bleed in the choroid, vision in the relevant eye may be restricted or lost.
