You have blood accumulating in the pericardium after a heart attack.

A heart attack involves parts of the heart not getting enough oxygen-rich blood. As a result, the affected heart tissue gets damaged or dies.

The pericardium is a layer of connective tissue surrounding the heart. There is some fluid in the pericardium (heart sac). So the heart is able to move inside this lining.

Blood accumulation in the pericardium can, for example, cause the heart to stop working properly. This can make you exhausted or get breathless.
