I31.1: Chronic constrictive pericarditis
Your pericardium is inflamed. It has been inflamed for some time.
The pericardium is a layer of connective tissue surrounding the heart. There is some fluid in the pericardium (heart sac). So the heart is able to move inside this lining. Your pericardium has been inflamed for a long time.
Persistent pericarditis can cause one to get tired more quickly or to be short of breath.
The pericarditis has caused the pericardium to harden.
