ICD-Code I62.09: Nontraumatic subdural haemorrhage: Unspecified
In your head there has been a bleed between your dura mater and your outer pia mater.
On the outside of the brain and spinal cord there are three thin meninges (linings). A tough meninx, the dura mater, is on the outside. Below that are two soft meninges.
Bleeding inside the head can damage brain tissue. You may have various symptoms as a result. The symptoms also depend on whether bleeding has suddenly occurred or has developed over a long period of time.
