I69.3: Sequelae of cerebral infarction

You had a stroke in the past. As a result, you are having symptoms.

A stroke is when the brain tissue no longer gets enough blood. The brain tissue gets damaged as a result. Problems may appear shortly after a stroke. These problems may also be long-term. Sometimes, too, certain problems only develop after a long time has passed. Symptoms might be difficulties speaking, for example. One might also be no longer able to move certain parts of one’s body properly, or one may be unable to remember things properly.
