K03.9: Disease of hard tissues of teeth, unspecified

One or more of your teeth have become damaged.

The damage relates to the hard outer layers of the teeth. The hard outer layers of the tooth's crown include the enamel and the dentin below it. The crown is the visible part of the tooth.

When the hard outer layers are damaged, problems can occur. The teeth may become sensitive to contact or cold. This can cause toothache.
