There is a small connecting passage in your gullet that is not normally there.
The oesophagus or gullet connects the mouth with the stomach. It is a muscular tube. The muscles in the oesophagus move food into the stomach.
A small connecting passage has formed on your gullet. What is more, the passage can lead to another organ in the ribcage or out through the skin.
