K59.00: Slow transit constipation

You have constipation.

With constipation, you have a bowel movement fewer than 3 times a week. The bowel movement may be painful, especially if you have to strain considerably. The feces are usually harder than normal with constipation.

In your case, the constipation has been caused by the feces being conveyed more slowly through the intestines than normal. The reason for this may be disorders or the nerves in your intestinal wall. The abdomen can be bloated. You may also have a feeling of fullness.
