K62.51: Hemorrhage of rectum
You have a bleed in your rectum.
The last segment of the large intestine consists of 2 sections. These 2 sections are the rectum and anal canal. The feces are collected in the rectum. The feces then move through the short anal canal to the anus. Feces are excreted through the anus.
The inside of the rectum is coated with a thin membrane. The thin membrane has a very good blood supply and is very sensitive. Various conditions or injuries can cause the thin membrane to bleed. You can have blood in your stool or coming from the anus as a result.
