K76.3: Infarction of liver
Parts of your liver are dead.
The liver is an important organ on the top right of the abdomen. For example, it helps with blood clotting and detoxifying the body. Nutrients from food are processed in the liver.
One or several blood vessels for your liver have become constricted or obstructed. As a result, parts of your liver are no longer properly supplied with blood. This liver tissue has then necrotized or died.
