K86.9: Disease of pancreas, unspecified

You have a disease in your pancreas.

The pancreas is located in the upper abdomen. It regulates the sugar content in the blood and forms substances for digestion, for example.

A diseased pancreas may no longer work properly. You may have shiny diarrhea and lose weight as a result. It is also possible that the pancreas is no longer able to properly regulate the sugar level in the blood. In that case, the sugar level in the blood will rise. You may also have pain in your upper abdomen.
