Your skin has become inflamed in certain places.

Your nails or the skin around your hair may also have become inflamed. Your sweat glands may have become inflamed.

Your skin has become inflamed because you have been infected by bacteria.

Pus has formed because your skin is inflamed by bacteria. The skin in the places affected may be red or warmer than usual. The skin the places affected may be swollen or blisters may have formed. The affected places may also be painful. This disorder can also make you very ill.
