L50.4: Vibratory urticaria

You have a rash on your skin. Certain areas of your skin are swollen and very itchy.

Your skin was probably subjected to a great deal of strain. For example, the soles of the feet may be affected after walking or standing for a long time. The rash sometimes also appears on one’s buttocks, for example after sitting on a hard surface for a long time.

The symptoms can vary in their severity. Certain areas of the skin usually swell up. These areas are often very itchy and red. The symptoms are similar to those that come from contact with stinging nettles. The areas affected by the rash may also be sore and burn.

The rash usually fades away again after a short time.
