L57.4: Cutis laxa senilis

You have a skin condition where the skin has permanent deep wrinkles.

This condition causes deep wrinkles or folds to be formed in the skin over time. The surface of the changed areas of the skin may look coarser than usual. The changed areas of the skin may be thickened and yellowy-white.

The cause of this disorder is damage to the skin. This can happen if the skin has been damaged by sunlight over many years. This means that areas of the skin that are exposed to a lot of sunlight such as the face or neck are particularly affected.
