L65.0: Telogen effluvium
You have been losing hair.
You have lost more hair than usual in many places, because your hair roots are damaged. Hair grows in a specific sequence. In your case, hair development is being disturbed when the hair stops growing. Hair loss from a healthy scalp is scarcely noticeable. In other words, no bald patches are visible.
Hair loss can be caused by feverish illnesses or certain medications, for example. But scalp injuries, metabolic disorders or poor nutrition can also cause hair loss.
