L81.1: Chloasma

You have darker patches on your skin.

The skin forms too much pigmentation in the affected areas. If there is too much pigmentation, the skin looks darker than normal.

The dark areas can develop after the skin has been exposed to a lot of sunlight. Certain sex hormones may be another reason for these dark areas. They lead to too much pigmentation being formed. The dark areas are mainly on the face, which is exposed to a lot of sunlight.
