L92.1: Necrobiosis lipoidica, not elsewhere classified

You have a skin condition where yellow or brownish patches on the skin are formed.

The yellow to brownish skin lesions with this condition are plate-like and hard. The skin lesions can be several centimeters. The skin in the middle of the skin lesions may be thinner than normal. Wounds can also develop there that go deep into the skin. Parts of the affected skin can die off.

The skin lesions can be painful. The skin lesions are mainly found on the fronts of the legs. However, the changes can be found all over the skin.

This condition causes the skin in the changed areas to become inflamed for a long time. However, the exact cause of this disorder is not yet known.
