L95.1: Erythema elevatum diutinum

You have a skin condition where red or brown patches are formed.

This condition causes round, red to brown skin lesions to form. The changed areas can be thicker than the surrounding skin or nodular. Small blisters or deep wounds may form, too. The skin lesions can be painful.

The skin changes are mainly found on the fronts of joints such as knuckles or knees.

This condition causes the skin in the changed areas to become inflamed. However, the exact cause of this disorder is not yet known.
