M21.24: Flexion deformity Hand

One or more of the joints in your hand is too bent.

The hand is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. Immediately after the forearm is the carpus. Then comes the metacarpus and then the individual fingers.

Joints can be too bent when the joints or the bones involved are diseased or damaged. When joints are too bent, it can be painful. You may not be able to move the affected part of your body properly.
