M21.33: Wrist or foot drop (acquired) Forearm

You have wrist drop.

Muscles in the forearm are used to stretch the hand at the wrist. In so doing, the hand moves towards the back of the hand. When this movement is not really possible it is known as wrist drop.

With wrist drop the muscles that move the hand upwards do not work properly. This may be caused by nerve damage. Nerves control muscle movements. Nerves can be damaged due, for example, to illnesses or injuries.
