M21.62: Acquired club foot [pes equinus]

You have a club foot.

With a club foot, the front of the foot is permanently pointing downwards and the heel is raised. As a result, the sole of the foot and the heel do not touch the ground. You then run on the tips of your toes.

A club foot can occur if muscles in the foot and lower leg are paralyzed. Injuries and operations may also be a cause. A club foot can also develop if the foot has not been moved for a long time.
