M21.74: Unequal limb length (acquired) Hand

Your arms are of different lengths.

The reason for the different lengths lies in your hand. The length of the arms can change if the bones there become longer or shorter. Bones can become shorter or longer with certain disorders, for example. An arm can also become shorter or longer after an injury or an operation.

When someone’s arms are of different lengths it does not necessarily cause any problems. But it may be that the person is then unable to move properly or has pain.
