M24.53: Contracture of joint Forearm
You have restricted mobility in your wrist.
The wrist joins the hand to the forearm. There are 2 bones in the forearm. These bones are called the ulna and the radius. As well as the actual wrist there is also a joint between the ends of the ulna and the radius. You may also have restricted mobility in the joint between the ends of your ulna and your radius.
Different disorders or injuries can lead to a joint being used less than before. Muscles, ligaments and tendons can then get shorter. This will make the joint less mobile. The joint may also stiffen up completely. Then it cannot be moved at all any longer.
