M24.68: Ankylosis of joint Other
A joint in your chest has stiffened up.
Joints may get stiff due to inflammation, for example. This can result in scars that restrict movement. The bones in the joint may also grow too much so that they impede movement. When a joint stiffens up completely, it becomes impossible to move.
