M25.14: Fistula of joint Hand
A duct (fistula) has formed in the tissue of your hand.
This type of duct can connect the inside of a joint to the skin. The duct may also lead to another joint or to a bone. Ducts like this can form due to inflammation or after operations, for example.
The hand is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. Immediately after the forearm is the carpus. Then comes the metacarpus and then the individual fingers.
