M25.43: Effusion of joint Forearm
You have accumulations of fluid in your wrist joint.
The wrist joins the hand to the forearm. There are 2 bones in the forearm. These bones are called the ulna and the radius. As well as the actual wrist there is also a joint between the ends of the ulna and the radius. You may also have an accumulation of fluid in the joint between the ends of your ulna and your radius.
Fluid can accumulate in the joint if the joint is worn or inflamed, for example. When fluid collects in the joint, the joint may swell up. The joint concerned may also be painful.
