M25.45: Effusion of joint Pelvic region and thigh
You have accumulations of fluid in your hip joint.
The hip joints are outside, to the side of the pelvis. They connect the pelvis to the thighbones. The hip joints enable the legs to be moved in different directions.
Fluid can accumulate in the joint if the joint is worn or inflamed, for example. When fluid collects in the joint, the joint may swell up. The joint concerned may also be painful.
