M62.37: Immobility syndrome (paraplegic) Ankle and foot

You can no longer move your ankle or foot properly, or you cannot move it at all.

There are different reasons why someone can no longer move certain areas of their body properly. These include brain or nerve damage, for example. It may also be impossible to move properly because of other disorders. If someone has not moved a part of their body for a long time, they may no longer be able to move it properly.

The muscles in the affected parts of the body may be thinner or shorter than normal. It may also be that the skin is damaged and that the blood circulation is worse than usual.
