M96.88: Other postprocedural musculoskeletal disorders

Problems have arisen with your muscles, tendons or bones after a treatment.

Tendons are made up of very firm connective tissue. Tendons attach muscles to bones.

For example, you may have had an artificial hip joint removed. An artificial hip joint sometimes needs to be removed if it is badly inflamed.

When an artificial hip joint is removed, the person is then unable to walk properly. It may also be painful. Sometimes there may also be other problems.
