M96.9: Postprocedural musculoskeletal disorder, unspecified
Problems have arisen with your muscles, tendons or bones after a treatment.
Tendons are made up of very firm connective tissue. Tendons attach muscles to bones.
For example, it may be that you have had a particular part of your body operated on, and that the muscles or bones in that area have changed since then.
This is sometimes painful, or mobility may be reduced. Sometimes there may also be other problems.
On medical documents, the ICD code is often appended by letters that indicate the diagnostic certainty or the affected side of the body.
- G: Confirmed diagnosis
- V: Tentative diagnosis
- Z: Condition after
- A: Excluded diagnosis
- L: Left
- R: Right
- B: Both sides
