N85.3: Subinvolution of uterus
Your uterus has not returned to its normal size.
The uterus or womb sits in the pelvis and is pear-shaped. The narrower part extends downward into the vagina and is called the cervix. When a woman is pregnant, the child grows in her uterus.
The uterus normally contracts after it is enlarged or stretched. Sometimes, however, it does not contract completely and does not return to its normal size.
