After being anesthetized during the birth, you have developed problems.
An anesthetic involves being given certain drugs. The aim is to suppress feelings of pain for a certain time. A local anesthetic only suppresses the pain in one particular part of the body. A general anesthetic involves being given additional medication to put you to sleep.
