You have one or more extra fingers or toes. Some fingers or toes are also fused together. This condition is congenital, which means you were born with it.
These extra fingers or toes may just be small fleshy tissue appendages. However, the extra fingers or toes can also be fully developed and functional.
Extra and fused fingers or toes can be hereditary. Other family members can also be affected.
