R00.3: Pulseless electrical activity, not elsewhere classified
You had a cardiac arrest, which means your heart stopped beating.
The heart's electrical activity causes the heart muscle to contract. It begins at a site in your right atrium. Initially the electrical activity spreads to both atria. The electrical activity then flows on via a sort of cable to the ventricles.
The electrical pulses of your heart were still present, but your heart still stopped beating. There are many different reasons for this kind of cardiac arrest. The heart itself may be diseased. Disorders in other organs or serious injuries can also cause cardiac arrest.
