R01.2: Other cardiac sounds
Your heart sounded different than usual.
In this way, the heart beats and pumps blood through our body. The beating of the heart can be heard. To do this, we listen at certain sites in the chest.
When the heart is listened to, it can sound quieter than usual, for example. A rubbing may also be heard.
Additional indicator
On medical documents, the ICD code is often appended by letters that indicate the diagnostic certainty or the affected side of the body.
