R29.5: Neurological neglect syndrome

You are not perceiving parts of your environment or your body properly.

If the brain is damaged in certain areas, one’s perception can change. The sufferer may then no longer see part of their environment properly or may not take any notice of it. It may also be the case that the sufferer no longer hears properly from one direction, or that they do not feel part of their body properly. With this disorder, the person is not aware that their perception has changed.
