Many nerves run from the spinal cord and brain to the organs, skin and muscles in the body. The nerves and muscles fulfill many different tasks in our body. The nerves control the muscles, for example. The nerves carry stimuli such as touch or warmth from the body to the brain, for example. Nerves or muscles that do not work properly can cause you to have many different symptoms. Symptoms can vary and occur all over the body.
