S29.7: Multiple injuries of thorax
You have injured your ribcage.
You have injured your chest in more than one place. Tendons or muscles in the chest may be damaged, for example. Tendons are made up of very firm connective tissue. Tendons attach muscles to bones. The skin, blood vessels or bones in the chest may also be damaged.
The symptoms depend on which part of the chest has been injured. You may have pain or bleeding. It may also be that you are no longer able to move certain parts of your body properly.

On medical documents, the ICD code is often appended by letters that indicate the diagnostic certainty or the affected side of the body.
