S29.80: Injury of thoracic meninges
You have injured your ribcage. In the process, the linings around the spinal cord in your thoracic spine were also damaged.
On the outside of the brain and spinal cord there are three thin meninges (linings). A tough meninx, the dura mater, is on the outside. Below that are two soft meninges.
The symptoms depend on which part of the chest has been injured. You may have pain or bleeding. It may also be that you are no longer able to move certain parts of your body properly.
