S33.15: Dislocation of lumbar vertebra: L5/S1
You have dislocated a vertebral joint.
In a joint, at least 2 bones are connected to one another. There are various joints in the lumbar spine and the pelvis.
The spine is made up of the individual vertebrae. Between every 2 vertebrae there is a vertebral disc. At the top and bottom of each there are 2 transverse processes. Along with the processes of adjacent vertebrae, these transverse processes form the small vertebral joints. The vertebral joints connect adjacent vertebrae to one another. In your case, the bones in the lower part of the lumbar spine are not properly aligned.
You may have pain in the back or pelvis as a result of the injury. You may also be unable to move properly. The injury may also have damaged surrounding organs. These could include the intestine or the bladder.
