S37.1: Injury of ureter
You have injured your ureter.
The ureter is a thin, muscular tube in the abdomen. There is usually one ureter on each side. The urine flows from the kidney, via the ureter, to the bladder.
Injuring an organ in the abdomen or pelvis can result in pain in that area. You may also have blood in your urine. You may not be able to pass water properly.
