S47: Crushing injury of shoulder and upper arm
You have had your shoulder or upper arm crushed.
Crushing can occur when a strong pressure is exerted on part of the body. This can occur as a result of an accident or a blow, for example. Muscles, nerves, blood vessels or bones can be damaged as a result of crushing.
When your shoulder or upper arm are crushed, you can usually no longer move them properly. You may have also pain at that location. There may also be bruising.
