S93.33: Dislocation of other and unspecified parts of foot: Tarsometatarsal (joint(s))

As a result of an injury, you have dislocated joints in your foot.

The foot is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. The lower leg is connected to the tarsus. Then comes the metatarsus and then the individual toes. The tarsus consists of 7 tarsal bones. The tarsal bones form the rear part of the foot. The metatarsus consists of 5 elongated metatarsal bones.

When joints are dislocated, the bones are no longer properly aligned. In your case, the metatarsal bones are not properly aligned with the tarsal bones.

When the bones are improperly aligned it can be painful or you may be unable to move your foot properly.
