T21.73: Chemical burn of third degree of trunk Abdominal wall
You have a chemical burn on your abdomen or groin.
A chemical burn involves tissue being damaged by chemical substances such as acids or alkaline solutions. The chemical burn may also be to the side of your abdomen.
The skin in the affected areas may be completely dead. The tissue below the skin may also be damaged. If nerves in a specific location are badly damaged, it will no longer be possible to feel pain there.
