T25.21: Burn of second degree (2b) of ankle and foot

You have a burn on your ankle or foot.

It may also be that only a toe or toenail is affected. A burn involves tissue being damaged by severe heat. This may happen due to fire, electricity, hot liquids or gases, for example.

The affected areas can be swollen. Blisters may also form on the skin. Parts of the skin may also be more badly damaged and dead. Those places may be painful.

  • G: Confirmed diagnosis
  • V: Tentative diagnosis
