T42.6: Poisoning: Other antiepileptic and sedative-hypnotic drugs
You have been poisoned by a depressant, a soporific or a drug for seizures.
A drug can cause poisoning if, for example, too much of it is taken. The drug may also be administered or taken by mistake.
Poisoning by a depressant or a soporific can cause increased drowsiness, for example. The breathing may also be impaired. The person may also lose consciousness.
Poisoning by a drug for seizures can cause dizziness, for example. The patient may also become drowsy or even pass out. They may be unable to control their movements. Seizures may also be triggered. Depending on exactly which drug has caused the poisoning, there can be various other symptoms.
