T67.7: Heat oedema
You have accumulations of fluid in tissue due to the effect of sun or extreme heat.
Heat makes the blood vessels in the body expand. There is then more pressure in the blood vessels, particularly in the legs. The pressure can cause fluid to pass from the blood vessels to the tissue. Then fluid collects in the tissue and swelling occurs.
