U69.13: Cardiac arrest prior to admission to hospital
You had a cardiac arrest, which means your heart stopped beating. You were admitted to hospital due to heart failure.
The heart pumps blood through the body. In the process, the blood flows through blood vessels. The blood supplies all areas of the body with oxygen and nutrients.
There are many different reasons for a cardiac arrest. The heart itself may be diseased. Disorders in other organs or serious injuries can also cause cardiac arrest.
