Z03.3: Observation for suspected nervous system disorder

You were medically monitored in order to rule out a disorder of the nervous system.

The nervous system includes all the nerves in the body, as well as the brain and the spinal cord. The nerves run from the brain and spinal cord into the body. They convey information in the body.

Typical symptoms, certain behaviors or eye-catching test results can indicate a disorder of the nervous system. Disorders of the nervous system can cause the person to lose the ability to move properly, for example. Pain, cramps or cognitive disorders may also indicate a disorder of the nervous system. Other symptoms are also possible with this type of illness. If a disorder of the nervous system is suspected, other tests or close observation may be required until the suspicion can be ruled out.
